A cigar-shaped object crashed in Aurora, Texas, and was reportedly found to contain the body of a small humanoid. The story was widely reported in the press, but later debunked as a hoax. According to a local legend, the pilot of the crashed airship was buried in the Aurora Cemetery. In the 1970s, researchers claimed to have located the pilot's grave, but subsequent investigations have cast doubt on the story.
