Rendlesham Forest incident

December 26-28, 1980: U.S. Air Force personnel stationed at RAF Woodbridge in England reported seeing strange lights and objects in the nearby Rendlesham Forest. The incident is often called the "British Roswell" and has been the subject of numerous investigations and documentaries.

Cash-Landrum incident 

December 29, 1980: Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, and Colby Landrum reported seeing a large object hovering over the road and emitting heat. The incident resulted in radiation burns and health problems for the witnesses. The case gained widespread attention and was investigated by various organizations, including the military.
